On July 3rd, the CRCEP 2022 program drew to a close. In addition to academic presentations by experts and scholars, six research teams composed of students from Zhejiang University and the University of Surabaya, Indonesia, presented the results of their three-day academic discussions.

The day's presentations focused on Culture and Emotion. First, Xia Fang from Zhejiang University delivered a presentation titled Culture Differences in Recalling Past Facial Expressions: The Role of Current Facial Expressions, exploring how cultural differences influence people's recollection of previously seen facial expressions.

Following this, Xiaoyu Zhou from Tsinghua University, from the perspective of culture and emotion management, gave a presentation titled How Emotion Regulation Varies Across Cultures: A Study on Ideal Affect.

Over these days, students not only attended reports by experts and scholars but also developed their own research directions through discussions, realizing a growth model of learning through listening and practicing through learning. In the afternoon, the six Sino-Indonesian student teams respectively presented their discussion results and research directions developed over the past few days. Research topics included emotional health during COVID-19, cultural differences and emotion regulation, parenting styles and left-behind children, psychological resilience and well-being in organizational contexts, return migration intentions of floating populations, and personality assessment methodologies, featuring diverse themes and in-depth conceptualization

During the project presentations, a panel of judges including Ananta, Alexander English, and Rui Yang posed questions and provided comments on each team's presentation, guiding students into lively discussions on the reported topics.

After the presentations, Jianhong Ma from Zhejiang University, Alexander English, and Yanhui Mao from Southwest Jiaotong University presented program certificates to the students. This recognized their active attempts at cross-cultural scientific exchange and encouraged them to persist in their efforts to enhance close academic cooperation between China and Indonesia.

Finally, all faculty and students celebrated the successful conclusion of the summer school and the CRCEP 2022 program by sharing a 10th-anniversary CRCEP cake, wishing CRCEP continued success and anticipating the next decade!
